Conference will take place in Eastern Avenue, Carslaw and New Law Lecture Theatre Annex buildings.

This 72-hectare site, located near the junction of Parramatta and City Roads, features landscaped grounds, sports ovals and centres, museums, galleries, two major complexes devoted to student recreation and services, and of course the famous Quadrangle and many other beautiful modern and historic buildings.

Parking

Casual parking on Camperdown and Darlington campuses

People wanting to park in the University, who do not have a permit, may do so by obtaining a ticket from the Pay and Display machines located around the campus.

Tickets must be displayed in accordance with instructions printed on them ie, face up on the dashboard in a clearly visible position.

Daytime casual parking rates (6am–3pm, Monday to Friday)

Camperdown & Darlington campuses
$24 flat rate (valid to 6am on the next morning)

Western Avenue carpark
$24 flat rate (valid to 6am on the next morning)
$4 hourly rate (to maximum $8 for 2-hour time-limited parking)

Shepherd Street carpark $24 flat rate (valid to 6am on the next morning) $4 hourly rate (to maximum $24)

Evening and weekend casual parking rates (3pm–6am, Monday to Friday;
6pm Friday to 6am Monday)

Camperdown & Darlington campuses, Western Avenue car park and Shepherd Street car park
$6 flat rate (valid to following 6am only)
$2 hourly rate (to maximum $6)

Getting There

Train

Catch a train to Redfern train station, and then take a 10-minute walk down Lawson St and onto Abercombie St to the main campus.

Free buses run to and from Fisher Library and Redfern station in the evening during semester.

Buses from the city

For stops on Parramatta Road (closest to the Quadrangle) catch routes 412, 413, 436, 438, 439, 440, 461, 480, 483 or metrobus m10 from George Street or Railway Square.

For stops on City Road (closest to Darlinghurst Campus) catch routes 422, 423, 426, 428 or metrobus m30 from George Street or Railway Square.

Buses by cross routes

Metrobus m10 runs between Maroubra Junction and Leichhardt. Alight on Parramatta Road for the University of Sydney.

Metrobus m30 runs between Mosman and Sydnenham. Alight on City Road for the University of Sydney.

Metrobus m20, m40, m50 connects with metrobus m10 in Park Street (Town Hall) and m30 on George Street (Town Hall).

Route 370 runs between Coogee and Leichhardt. Alight in City Road for the University of Sydney.

Route 352 runs between Bondi Junction and Marrickville. Alight on City Road for the University of Sydney.
